What to expect:
- Support in supply chain management by obtaining information from upstream suppliers regarding certifications, codes of conduct, CSR requirements, quality agreements, etc., as well as classifying this data and coordinating supplier registrations with customers
- Supporting the Quality team in the implementation and maintenance of quality standards as well as in managing various certifications
- Ensuring data integrity, data analysis and archiving within the QM system, as well as maintaining and updating relevant databasesIndependent handling of written and telephone inquiries (e.g., customer statements, clarifications, follow‑up questions)
- Acting as a contact person for quality‑related topics for food retailers, in particular regarding certificates and information on suppliers at producer level
- Further development of existing databases, including customer requirements and supplier/service provider overviews
- Support before and during audits within the quality management area
- Active contribution to the development of new processes and participation in improving existing workflows
Required skills:
- Successfully completed vocational training in food trade or agricultural sciences
- 2–3 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Experience with common quality standards such as IFS, EU Organic, Chain of Custody, Rainforest Alliance, etc.
- Enjoyment of structured work as well as process development and compliance
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities when dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Good command of written and spoken English; Spanish skills are an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
