What to expect:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the Dole companies in the European region and for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the parent company
  • Ensuring correct accruals during the year, partly in cooperation with specialist departments (also abroad), as well as account analyses and account reconciliations
  • In charge for entry of salaries and for intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with and documentation of internal control processes (SOX)
  • Collaboration on Value added tax reports and other reports as well as on tax audits and the preparation of annual financial statements

Required skills:

  • Completed commercial training
  • Relevant professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an international group environment
  • Result-, process-oriented and structured way of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Hands-on mentality, proactive and independent way of working, strong team skills
  • Very good skills in Excel and MS-Office (especially Excel) as well as in common ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV or similar)
  • Very good written and spoken English and German
